Stub Thru

We install Cat5 and coax cable for DAS (distrubited antenna systems) for cellular phone usage in existing buildings. Our equipment is usually installed in phone closets or IDF rooms that we put EMT stub-thrus above ceiling to be able to leave that room with our cable. Is there any code that covers fill of a stub-thru or is it not even considered a conduit system since it is usually only one piece about a foot long?

If the length of the raceway is 24" or less, then you can fill up to 60% instead of 40%. (Note (4) to tables)

It sounds like you are running the CAT5 and Coax through the conduit. If so, try TIA-568. I beleive they publish an 0nline reference now.
