Thanks Bob and George you both just ruined my side job tonight, now I have to put all that 138kv gear back in my minivan and go to home depot
On a more serious note I've always mentioned this to customers if applicable, when you can get a utility to take control of anything go for it let them have the maintenance expenses, cheaper in the long run, I'm only dealing with 13.2kv pad transformers in my case but I would definitely let an engineer do the numbers for you. Good Luck and get some pics up when they break ground.
