Had a question on the test regarding corded plug sump pump allowed in elevator pit.

In Georgia we are allowed to work on sump pumps and pit lighting, but as far as the controls, no.

we can can only work on the elevator disconnect and not anything on the load side.

We always install power for the sump pump, install the pit lights, and disconnects for the cab lights.
