No one's gonna get hurt with my Folio issues........

Says the guy who uses aluminum ladders.

That are set up properly.

Next time, I'll use a nice conductive steel scaffold if it gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Exactly, when you decide it is OK it is fine, when someone else makes the same types of decisions you find fault with it.

Kind of hypocritical IMPO.

Next time I work on a ceiling fan that's 26' off the floor and it's energized, I'll call you and get an OSHA-approved method.

Is it really necessary that you boys bicker right in the middle of my pointless thread?

That was a typo, I'm 94. What are 'turn signals'?

Green to X0
White to X3

I'm confused. What's up with that?

Edit: maybe that's blue, not white, but then I'd ask where the neutral is? I really should be asking why are you pulling a ground?

That is a blue ID on the X3 conductors. Look really closely at the conductor in the "middle" of that lug.

So the (old)building service is 480 delta?

Will the new service be 480/240 wye?

The conductors hooked up to the secondary are going away. The conductors terminated at XO now are actually the grounded conductors of a 208y/120 system. Why green tape is beyond me. I will post pictures when the new service conductors are installed.

How does the PVC hold up for you? The sun is pretty powerful at 8000' above sea level and years ago I made the decision to never use PVC outside again because it always seemed to wave after a few years regardless of how many straps I put on it.

Certainly it gets hotter in FL than it does here but I'm wondering if the it's not the heat but the extra UV energy that causes my PVC to sag. Does it hold up well on horizontal runs in your area of the world?

Who does those big cutouts in the building wall to run your conduit through? We usually have to core drill ourselves and use LB's.

It's that light on the left side of your van that flashes when you drive it.

I thought that was the police pulling him over for not using turn signals??

We made that cutout. Grinder in the stucco then hammer and chisel. Al inside and myself on an extension ladder. Took about 20 minutes. Core drill out of the question due to the angle of the 90's. Lb's out of the question due to wire size. Four 600's and a #3 in a 4" PVC.
