Sf, I would sign off and give you a gold sticker :) just for having the proper tester. I would probably call you to ask if I could borrow it sometimes because I'm a broke down AHJ that can barely get my Municipality to pay for pass/fail stickers and reports.

I think 25 OHMS or less is in there as a practical joke :roll:

In my part of the world , the local counties have resolved this issue. They make everyone install 2 rods !
GEC must run Unbroken from panel to first rod , through an approved connector then to the second rod. = 2 rods , 1 GEC. Rods must be a minimum of 6 feet apart.

I never saw a clamp on ground rod tester. Where can I get one?
