supporting large MC

On my project all the condo feeders are 1/0 or 3/0 mc cable. the code says for mc up to #10 it has to be strapped within 12 inches of the box but I can not find requirements for larger mc. does anyone know? Thanks.

That's what the NEC says, #10 and under need support 12" from box etc.

#8 and larger 6' is code.

I guess what I am saying is how close to the panel and meter stack does it have to be strapped, 12 inches, three feet, six feet?

Normally for smaller cables (you have smaller cables) if you can drop down a couple of feet(as in through the floor action) and put a piece of strut on the wall to where your cables go straight in is good.

Option 2, and paying close attention to the six foot rule, Mount a vertical piece of strut (past the curve of the radius from the close edge of the panel)and use a caddy cable clamp. Saves a lot of ugly fighting.
