Per 300.11 (A) states, Cables and raceways shell not be supported by the ceiling grids. OK

Per 314.23 (D) (1) states, an enclosure shall be fastened to the framing members by mechanical means.

My interpretation is, a box can be mount to ceiling grids, but EMT can not be mounted ceiling grids, so would that make the picture a violation ???

Thank you, for any and all information.

Above the Ceiling, I've always supported my pipe runs independent of the ceiling grid,
I've seen that clip used for mc flex only, but in very limited fashion.
A box with a suspension bracket i can understand.
Suspended ceilings are just not designed for any dead loading.

Yes, that picture shows a violation...the grid is not permitted to support wiring methods. It may support equipment and enclosures, but even there, often a local code will require independent support.
