Suspended Plenum Cable Above Ceiling Tile

In one of the newsletters, I thought that I saw that it is OK or meets code to use the suspended ceiling grid support wire to hang low voltage A/V and DATA cable using the J-hooks. Can anyone point me to more details,

As an example, 800.24 sends you to 300.11, so you need to install your own wires.

I thought I read a MH ec&m art that said in 2008 even our wires could now be attached to the ceiling support wires.
