I will be running a feeder to a sub panel for a new swim/spa. The new panel will be piped in pvc from service panel and have XHHW wire. The circuits from the the new panel with be in NMLT and are all 240V and hardwired(less than 6' from panel). My question is do they need GFCI protection? I'm thinking No from what I am seeing in the 2005 NEC. Also any existing receps/switches within 5' of pool walls will be blanked off and any between 10-20' will be made GFCI proteced. Am I missing anything?
