Ive been asked about putting a switch on portable generators, to easily switch the neutral between bonded and unbonded, so they can be used for both home standby power and remote power.
My opinion is that the switch would need to have an SCCR rating, and there would have to be an available fault current Calc done on the generator.
I don’t think toggle switches even have an SCCR rating, so I’d be looking at a non-fused disco.
Kind of large for an 8kw portable.
