Home Depot still carries them... they are generally used for closet lights... Gardner Bender makes them, Cat. No. GSW-SK

When I search P&S for model SSTK-42-4, I come up with device that is listed as a Tandem Plate and it looks like it's for Cat-5 or phone jacks, not a single toggle wall switch. P&S lists some narrow ones, but they are only shown as a special order. I only need 3.

I finally threw in the towel and mounted the toggle switch in the wall about 36" from the door (not in the hollow door frame). For principal light control, I added an occupancy sensor. Crude solution . . . .but effective. This solution isn't "The Clapper", but it's close. Also, it's "energy efficient".
