Switch legs

I am doing a small lighting project with numerous switch legs. What are some good ideas to keep the sl's separate from each other and from the hots?

I've always just put a curly Q in the switch leg. One for first position...two Q's for second etc

Or you could devise your own system tape, numbers,

Use distinct wire colors, purple, pink, yellow etc

I do the same most of the time. If I don't have any off colours available I keep the hot and the switch leg the same colour and flag the switch leg with a piece of tape
