So here are two 2000a boards. One with fused switched and the other breakers. So even though they are both 2000a they could require different labor to assemble depending on qty. of sections. I would think the one with the breakers might even be one section and the other two. Agree?

Didn't you just have a post about switchboard section labor where you questioned your own labor units?

Seems to me you're doing it again....

why do you solicit opinions in labor from people you don't know, that work in all different parts of the country, when the guy(s) in YOUR company that actually install what you are bidding, are right down the hall?

He gets to ask questions just like any other member here.

If you do not wish to answer, then don’t.

Was question about the same size board(in amperage) and the possibility that one could come in one section and another could come in two. So in that case even though they are both 2000A they would require different labor. And yes I could ask others who actually might not have as good as input.

I would guess that they would both be in one section. Seems like a 2000 AF and a 400 AF would easily fit in one section. Same the with the fused switches.

The one board has (6) 200a fused switches and (2) 100A fused switches.

So do you agree that everything should end up in just sections? So what's the question, why is the labor for the 2000 amp unit more than the board with the 8 switches?

I assume you are bidding this job ....your switchgear rep (SqD, Eaton, etc), has the bill of material that has all detail, sections, dimensions.

Have you ask for this?
