We didn't actually have a blow up, I was just asking for videos and/or pictures so I could demonstrate to those that needed convincing that this was a very dangerous situation. It still took them two weeks to get around to repairing it after it was discovered.

You want to open eyes with video? I'll say this first, I have spoken with the victim in this video and he asked very kindly that the video not be reproduced and distributed. It was put out there for personal use to promote awareness. I hope everyone can respect his wish.

Stay safe everyone, we all have family to come home to.........................

Unfortunate

Unfortunate

The very unfortunate part is, it is not a matter of how much confidence one may hold. You may have walked into energized gear a million times in a t-shirt, jeans and a lunch box. For the most part, the accident hides behind faulty or neglected equipment. It's not the human error that causes the fault at the immediate point of occurance, it's what happened before them that led the up to the point, point of disaster. It can be the scariest monster hiding just below the surface of common sense and unknown hazard.

It's that one over looked boundary that may keep you from ever coming home again.
