switchgear room flood protection?

sandbags near the doors. any other suggestions? Gear is up on a 4" pad , right next to fire pump room ,just trying to be being pro-active
 
For a current flooding situation that could get worse or just preparedness for "just in case"?

Sandbags tends to make me think for current situation that could get worse - maybe also need to seal underground raceways where water could potentially enter through or even provide a sump pump to pump out whatever makes it through your barrier of sand bags

In reading first original posting in this thread, I turned to the Weather Channel for updates. It seems the "jet stream" tracking from the Northwest (noticing the cooler temps here last couple days) having dropped low into Texas (San Antonio). Large portions of the South & Midwestern area(s) are expecting severe weather. Noticing Weather alert is also including Southwest PA & expecting significant rain. (according to Weather Channel)
