Hello, I wanted to ask a question about using a switchgear as a pass thru. I noticed another electrician took 480v to a step down transformer from a switchgear, then from the transformer back through the verticle section of the switchgear to a conduit which leads to a piece of equipment. I know theres and exception in 408.3 about switchgears and conductors passing through verticle sections but is this allowed.
