is it ok to switch on power factor correction capacitor pannel with the facility's stand by generators ?? i heard that it rises up generator voltage and may cause possibile generator damage?? please advise.

You do not want to use a compromise set of PF correction capacitors which sometimes over corrects and leaves a PF less than 1 but capacitive.
Some regulators do not cope well with a capacitive load.
A perfectly resistive load should be just fine.

Yes. If you over correct it is likely to increase the voltage.
