Switching question

I have to install exhaust ventilation into three shower/changing stalls at one of the local swim club. The stalls each have lighting via a timer switch. All three are on the same branch circuit. I would like to energize the fan as soon as the lights go on. The ceiling is open above. Could this be controlled by a line voltage relay like a RIB. How would you do it. Thanks.

You could use one relay for each time switch. Wire the three relays N/O contacts in parallel to feed the fan. Any one time switch will close its relay and turn the fan on.

Im assuming you would like the fans on a separate circuit then the lighting? Otherwise could you keep them on the same circuit?

I think he's leaning towards if they're on the same circuit as the lights, you don't need a relay(s)

Unless you have two pole timers you will need the relays if you do not want all the lights coming on when any of the timers are on.
