Hi everybody;

I have some question regarding to the symmerical voltage component. As far that I know, we usually use the standard symmetrical component equation to get the symmetrical voltage component of a phase to ground voltages (Va, Vb, Vc).

Standard equation:
[Va] [ 1 1 1 ] [ V0 ]
[Vb] = [ 1 a^2 a ] [ V1 ]
[Vc] [ 1 a a^2 ] [ V2 ]

where V0, V1, V2 are the zero, positive and negative voltage sequence respectively.
a= 1 with phase angle 120 degree

My question is what are the equations or formulas to get the symmetrical component for phase to phase voltages (Vab, Vbc, Vca)?

Vab = Va - Vb. The others are similar. You don't need to start with symmetrical components to get there.
