T-12 Troffer Conversion To LED

I've just been asked to bid a conversion project. Existing fixtures are T-12/4 Lamp troffers. To convert these to LED's do I remove the ballast, apply 120V via a non shunted lampholder to one end of the lamp and a dummy lampholder on the other side for each lamp?

Scrap the existing fixtures and put in a new LED fixture. Other wise you will not get what the client really wants. And that's aside from any UL issues.

It depends on what kind of kit you buy.
