Hi All,

I'm trying to calculate my general lighting load based on occupancy type per TABLE 220.12. However, part of the design includes "alcohol/drug rehabitation" sleeping units. Can anyone help me as to what type of occupancy to use per Table 220.12 ???? Please note, Institutional type occupancies are not listed.

What is the other part of the design?

If the shoe fits, wear it.

But if the rest of the occupancy doesn't fit, its hard to go wrong by picking an "office", since it has the highest load in the table.
True. Yet I have to assume the question was asked to reduce the total calculated load.

If I didn't know there was more to the design, I would say "Hotels and motels, including apartment houses without provision for cooking by tenants".
