Taking bets on what fails first

Last service change I did out there the meter main was only 5 years old completely rusted parts of it gone, replaced it with stainless meter base and had to move the main breaker back to back in the house.

You sure there wasn't more to it than just the general atmospheric conditions?

Does everyone there that owns a car more than 5 years old have one that has all the steel just about corroded away?

Is there any steel finished buildings more than 5 years old?

I'm in agreement on the pole going, but either way, I hope this is something that you are replacing! Get a few more sawzall blades and clear the area!
