Tap block

Have underground conduit going to a manhole and branching off to a light pole. Have 4#2 entering and leaving and 2#6 going to light pole. How many port two block would be required? 4 on one side the 6 on the other ?

You would need a 3 port for each of the conductors that you're tapping onto. One in one out and the tap. Are you splicing at every pole?

Not sure if splicing is needed. Can't I do either to get from the #2's to the #6's?

If you don't splice the #2 conductors and pull them straight through then you could just use a tap connector for the #6's leaving the #2's unbroken.
