Coming off a 200 amp feed through pedestal. This is last in run so was going to tap down to 6thhn. its outside. I forgot the RV pedestals don't terminate at a single breaker before feeding other loads. So I need to install a 3r disconnect on the back side of the Pedestal... Looking at tap rules it does not say under 240.5 that discount must be rated xxx.
Since I am tapping down to a 70amp breaker. all I need is a disconnect rated for greater than 75 amps.- correct. Or do I need a 200amp since main breaker that feeds this is 200 amp??
