Tap off utility xfmr - secondary side

From secondary side of utility transformer (480V), can we tap off (2) feeders, then each feeder will goes to serve a different building?

- Do we need to provide the protection for each feeder after the tap? Thanks!

You say utility transformer, POCO owned I'm assuming. If this is the case, contact them.

We do not have to concern ourselves with tap rules; however, we do have to be concerned about voltage drop, easements, clearance from grade, etc.

Actually we do, if the tap conductors is on the customer side of the service point (i.e. the service point is at the secondary terminals). The concerns are not out of the ordinary, though.
