Taped Cable Device Entries/ Glands

can you tell me if the attached use of denso tape in offshore installation is in violation of any standards NFPA, API RP 14 F etc

I am thinking that the cable glands we compromised hence the use of the tape, but I am wondering if you or others have any experiences with this sort of taping on cable entries in HL devices?

The tape is not so much a violation as it is an ineffective repair. If the installation was not already compliant or became damaged, the tape won't correct it.
