Tapping A Meter Combo

I had a GC call today for us to hook-up a condensor unit installed at an existing apartment complex. (Unit was upgraded from baseboard heating to central HVAC.) It is a second story apartment with attic space but very tight quarters and, of course, finished walls. I was looking at the outside wall and thought of this scenario. The new a/c unit is about 15' from meter emclosure. Can the 100amp main be tapped and a 20 amp disconnecting means for the unit installed under the enclosure. I am good with my tapping requirements, but tapping within the enclosure itself is my concern. The panels are accessible, not requiring POCO, and there is sufficient space for the connections. What say you?

As long as you follow the rules of 240.21(B) for a feeder tap I don't see a problem with this.

Thanks. My feelings as well, but so many times equipment listings come into play that I was wondering if anyone has run into problems with this particular style.
