Anyone ever use this for temporary power? The bare neutral/messenger is throwing me off? Thought the neutral had to be insulated..lol:dunce::?

Use what? Messenger type cable can use the bare for neutral on overhead service conductors, or can use bare for equipment grounding for feeders or branch circuits, whether temporary or not.
