I have to setup a ~400A temp service for construction. I can use a transformer if necessary for voltages needed.

Currently have a 13.2Kv service coming into an existing building substations/switchgear line up.

The incoming service conductors, gear lineup and all other electrical work is being demolished.

They want new 13.2Kv incoming feeders, gear etc. etc.

I would imagine they are going to want demolished equipment taken out in the beginning of the job so I don't think I can leave that active and use for my temp power until my new is up and running?

I am not sure how I can get 600V power for my temporary power needs if the 13.2Kv service is being removed.

Any thoughts. Thanks.

Pretty much a POCO question.
Check with them and see what they can provide and where.
Why 600v ??

What if my existing incoming service conductors are routed in different location and the existing service lineup is in different location then new. Would that matter/make a difference? Could I leave that in place throughout the job and use it for temp?

Actually thinking that leaving it in place for temp may not be an option as once new equipment gets installed, we may not be able to get it out..lol.
