I have been caculating a service to feed 10 sleeping quater tents with a caculated load of 30 amps. It will be a 208/120 3 phase system, one phase will 13.8 amps X 1.25 17.25 amps. The Scope of work states a 30 amp service for each tent. Will table 220.84 demand factor appilcable, because 4 split AC/heat pump will be installed in each unit. Can anyone give further detail on demand factor for this kind of distribution.

Will you have to provide power for heating and cooling? If you have a code book read through Art. 551 as the tent site information is there. I suspect that if you know your loads, this will be where you need to be.
