I would think a powerwall or two would need to go in a very large 3R enclosure.

They'll be on a cabinet twice as big as a regular traffic signal cabinet. We know they'll fit

The Powerwalls are 3R themselves. But they would probably need to be protected from sun, vehicular dangers, and the public in this case.

My Tesla-owning friend just mentioned there's a new update to allow a Tesla automobile to backpower your PowerWall.
So you recharge the PowerWall, saving enough in the Model S to get to a Supercharger outside the blackout, recharge the car, go home & repeat.
Separately, I was told the PowerWall has "island" capability. If the grid is down, it can isolate and accept solar input to keep it charged.
I'm seeking a Fine Manual to confirm that.
