We have been asked to build a test chamber that needs to be class 1 division 1. All of our internal components are all ready rated for this class and division, so there is no problem there. The one question that has come up is the fact that we have windows in the side of the chamber and how does having windows affect the code. Are you able to have regular windows or do they need to be wire mesh safety windows. Or are they not allowed at all?

Technically, as you have used it, "Class and Division" only apply to the electrical portion of your construction. Your other issues are not addressed in the NEC. Other fire/building codes apply. You will need to consult with your local building officials to determine the applicable codes - then you can determine the construction requirements.
