Re: test time

Have you tried finding these answers?

We aren't going to take your test for you. It is too important for you to be able to find these answers. We will will be happy to help, but we won't do the work for you.

Re: test time

The question is about transfomers. Start in the index with that. Specifically, it is about overcurrent protection of the transformer. Use that information, head to the index and find your answer. DON't FORGET to read the notes to the tables.

Re: test time

Rondal1, do as Ryan said and try to look it up yourself, then come back and post your answer and how you found it.

Have you looked at the table you were pointed to for your equipment grounding conductor question?

Re: test time

hey guys, some times we look to hard for the answer.when we need to stand back an look for it at a later time. sorry if you i made it look like i was looking for some one to take the test for me. that was not he case at all.
the question was for a transformer rated at 600v norminal or less, if the primary overcurrent protection device is sized at 250 percent of the primary current, what size secondary protection device is required if the secondary current is 42a? 40,70,60,90amp. my answer was 90 from section 450.6b right or wrong

Re: test time

Wrong. You're not dealing with "secondary ties."

You're a page too far. Try again. :)

It's spelled out in one of the tables prior to 450.6. That's a pretty big hint for you. ;)

Re: test time

Thanks for citing the sections you're reading from, it helps.

No, you're not quite in the right spot.

Follow Ryan's path closely, and you will arrive in the right spot. :)
