Long time no talk guys how it hangin. Im doin alrite still employed so i guess thats a good thing. I just finished up my first large commercial service. 1000 amp. (12) thwn 250 coppers. Talk about intense. 5 4", 2 3" and 1 1" 85 ft pvc runs. And it wasnt a straight run either. The blanket was our best friend. And personally I think 22's are more useful than 45's. Man oh man but setting up that switch gear was brutal. Heavy as all hell. It might be old news to some of you guys but it was way beyond plugs and switches for me. Now this is what we ended up doing for the grounding. Obviously the 2 rods at the trans. and 2 rods by the disc. But the water main that the brought into the building was plastic. So instead we just attached a lug onto the building steel. It was pretty cool how the gear kind of just slides together. But i guess thats all for now so be safe everyone. later.
