This wouldn't work for anyone in Texas.
State goes to 2008 Monday but this only applies outside of municipalities and there are no inspections.

Every municipality is free to use whatever NEC cycle they wish.

None I have worked in recently are on 2008 and most are pre-2005.

One is still under 1993 with amendments. One amendment is no wire under #12 except for switch legs.:roll:

Several have the no wire under 12 rule but this is the only one I know of that goes against 240.4(D).

Charlotte, NC will be NC 2009 (Building Code) come Jan 1st with is IBC,
I don't know (2006- I think.)
