Trying to implement a flat rate system, and make sense of program time and material allowance.
Scenario is adding an outlet. Could possibly be applied to commercial but definitely residential.
From outlet to existing power source within 25’.
Time allowed 1.75
Material allowance $129
For two guys the time might be about right, for one guy I think it is a little shy.
The material allowance, if the new outlet was a gfci, I might be close to $40.
Assuming this is 300% markup
And the rate is at$175
Thoughts??
