Sorry guys to ask you this but I really going through it with my foreman. I understand you defending an electrician over an estimator lol.

So have the small bathroom below. (2) fixtures, one wall and one ceiling, one GFI and one switch all being replaced in same location and connecting to that existing circuit from where they were removed.

Only speaking about the install portion once the disconnects and safe off of circuits has been done.

There are (6) of these bathrooms all located next to each other.

My foreman is doing the install/reconnection to the existing circuit(in same exact location) himself and said he needs 5-6 days to do the 6 bathrooms. Again just to do the install/reconnection work.

TO me this seems like more than what it should take.

Many here agree that 6 hours is sufficient. I personally tend to agree with post #7. Is this foreman on a 7 day? If so on a 6 hour assignment, your day is pretty much done. Of course he will proceed to the next bathroom until all are finished but that time savings will only help in making money for you.

Does he have to constantly leave the space to let someone use the john? (seen that before)
Set up and working in a small space can be more challenging and time consuming that wide open space. (for one, ladder positioning around fixed obstacles Toilet, sinks etc.)
What has been removed and what point (how far) for tapping back into the system? How much rework of dismantled system not planned for?(most times unknown until he gets on site, unless he is doing the gut out too.)
Other trades trying to share working space?
All these and more can attribute to increase times. The Guy on site seeing existing conditions might be accounting for some of these factors.

he's on an 8 hour day.

You’re asking for The Only install- not demo also.
If it takes him 6 hours for a light, switch, and gfci, then he either Milking the clock or just slow.
Like hall said one day is all you need for all rooms.

I don't think I could work so slowly as to only do one bathroom per day if I tried.

Two per day seems more realistic, unless I'm missing something the electrician knows.

I use to work with some guys that purposely went slow, most morning job in the world no wonder they were miserable,
Sit around talking all day.

I would say 8 hours. By the time I drive there ,get tools, get to first bathroom, set up doing this 4 times , open boxes in first bathroom and makes everything is there ( 4 times ) , hang 4 fixtures. I usually charge for either 4hours or 8 hours.

If the foreman is doing the work himself I believe it would take longer for him to finish this task compared to someone else of equal skill, if he is also doing "foreman stuff".
Example: Answering questions, ordering product for the next day, chasing down slackers, explaining why it's taking him so long to finish etc.
