Ting is a small plug in device that monitors power and for arcs. It connects to your Wi-Fi and a phone app. $99 for first year & sensor, $49 annually. The device is probably $25 at most to make. The have one major insurance company who has bought into this, but I can't find any technical info that gives any real explanation of how it works.
