To AFCI or not to AFCI

Need to move a receptacle in an area that would normally now require AFCI protection, but wasn't required when it was originally wired. GC is installing new heating units on wall space that has the receptacle. Now only require the outlet to be moved 6 inches and not adding any wire and using same receptacle and box, does this move initiate a requirement for AFCI protection? Total of 3 receptacles are being moved in like manner.

No. You are moving it only. Not changing the circuit. You have my permission.
Change the device to white and now that’s a different story.
