The one I worked off of was wood! Not all that steady! Top is wobbly, but won’t fall over if used within reason.

Definitely, plywood on tile to distribute the weight. Outriggers not so much a problem, but the wheels are hard plastic.Do you need to lay protective layer on hardwood floors. I worry about cracking crap with that. Probably not realistic just in my head
I got that good fiberglass one off a sprinkler man.The one I worked off of was wood! Not all that steady! Top is wobbly, but won’t fall over if used within reason.
Now days it is hanging on my ceiling.(picture)

I think we borrowed that wooden one from the sprinkler guys, they had a bunch of them on the job. Back before scissor lifts became popular. Out on the main floor we used three or four jack’s high masons scaffolding on wheels. I sent a helper up one to get something off it, about thirty minutes later, I said where in the heck is he? I peaked out of the electrical room, he was just getting to the top, but not onto the platform. He then went back down, failing to achieve the objective! LOL!I got that good fiberglass one off a sprinkler man.
