I have a customer who had no power on outlets and lights. After checking panel, etc. and not finding the problem, I identified the circuit that was working close to it. After turning the breaker of for that circuit, the other circuit started working. Both circuits have been moved from the main panel to a subpanel right beside it. Now both circuits are working, but I need to find the problem. Customer has just moved from California, where his entire town was destroyed by the Wild fires a while back, and certainly don't want any more problems. Any ideas why this happened like this?

certainly has to do with moving circuits to new panel.
Suggest ringing out each wire to make sure neutrals and hots come from the new panel.
 
The neutrals come from the old panel right beside the new. They just wirenutted the hots in the old panel and brought them to the new, and left the neutrals in the old panel, which is packed. Guess I'll have to try and find the neutrals in the old panel to make sure they have a good connection. There are some neutrals wirenutted, but they were tight. Guess I'll check again. Never came along one quiet like this one. Been doing electrical work for 48 years. Never to old to learn☺.
Thanks for the replies. It will be interesting to know how it doing this when I find the problem.
