Troubleshooting challenge....

When we had our fence installed I pretty much felt it was my obligation to test it. Not a great feeling (I had the prongs in my hand) but not the end of the world either. The funny thing was my then 6 year old son asked me how it felt. I told him it hurt. He asked if he could try. I told him it hurt again. He asked again and I said "Go ahead". Lo and behold he agreed with me.

And for what it is worth I know that the Invisible Fence guy that installed ours tests the collars this way. I think he does the leg thing so as to use his pants as a barrier.

He wouldn't know about such things. He is too spoiled.

As for me, I'm the adventuresome sort who can tell you a bark collar tickles compared to grabbing the fence around the cow pasture.

I wouldn't consider either to be entertaining. Well, I guess it depends on who was on the receiving end. Crossing fence: "Steady yourself on that fence there. That ground is real slippery". Only works once.:D

Can I get an AMEN!!
