Antenna point says I shouldn’t be getting any stations, they are all in Atlanta or Chattanooga. 70+ miles away, but I have a high gain antenna and amplifier. 20’ pole, with a mountain range in front of me. I get about 40 channels.

Could be getting an ionosphere bounce... HAMs like doing that sort of thing to see how far away they can reach one another.

Many , many years ago when AM radio was still a thing and no FM, we used to get stations at night from all over the world, got Australia, Alaska and Saskatchewan, and others in foreign languages at different times.

AFA OP issue during same time period was able to "blank out" my brothers radio by tuning mine to a different frequency, wish I knew the frequency gap but do remember it was fairly consistent as he moved his I move mine to block. So it does appear there is a cancellation points on varying frequencies. Think that may applicable whenever something has or operates or is visible, Audible at a specific frequencies it would have an opposition frequency, think that in part is the premise of "noise cancellation" tech for hearing protection.
