Two power sources same conduit?

Due to safety concerns it is not permitted at GM. 1 circuit could be energized and the other deenergized and someone starts working on conductors or conduit.

There are more issues than whether it is NEC compliant if energized circuits are allowed to be worked on by unqualified persons. This would be more of an OSHA and NFPA 70E issue.

Qualified personnel would use the proper equipment and procedures to determine if all wiring is safe to be worked on.

I do understand GM's position though.
