The balance does not have to be precise. If there is any imbalance, and there likely will be some, the highest loaded conductor(s) must have adequate ampacity and OCP. While the panel ratings can provide a rough idea of any potential imbalance, they are not a good way to determine balance. A panel schedule format is a common method of balancing, or determining the imbalance.
