I fail to see how it would create an actual hazard.

I just see the 10amp mcb a waste of panel space.I fail to see how it would create an actual hazard.
I used to use a crap load of them when they were the only listed 10 A branch circuit breaker with a DIN rail mounting available.I just see the 10amp mcb a waste of panel space.
There was a link here that I don't remember where it is, but there is a proposal to allow 14/2 copper clad aluminum, if that happens 10A breakers are going to be needed for truck stock.I just see the 10amp mcb a waste of panel space.
Good luck finding them at Lowe's
They probably going to need to make 10A AFCI's as well if that ever happens. There was a link here that I don't remember where it is, but there is a proposal to allow 14/2 copper clad aluminum, if that happens 10A breakers are going to be needed for truck stock.
I realize tract homes and multi family dwellings are built as cheap as they can get away with, but still don't think that 14 AWG CC aluminum is such a great idea. They probably going to need to make 10A AFCI's as well if that ever happens.
