Ufer in a new footer design, not possible?

Fred what do you see as an issue? If it doesn't qualify as a CEE then another electrode can be used.
 
Didn't really think Ufers were that difficult.
I didn't think that footings were that difficult either. This product seems to reinvent the wheel. I'd be curious to hear from someone who has used it.
 
This a thing with ICF construction. No big deal, just use another type of GE. Also seeing more insulated footings in conventional construction. Same deal, just use another type of GE. The code does not require a CEE if your footing does not qualify.

I see a fair number of footings being poured in Youtube videos that have plastic under the footing and waterproofing on the walls. I don't see how that kind of footing would qualify as a CEE either.
