UL Rating for Wirenuts

I have an inspector looking for the UL rating for wirenuts to be used on a DC solar connection. I contacted Ideal and they said it is approved for AC & DC but they do not have any literature but I can find the info in the UL Electrical Construction Equipment Directory. Does anyone have this info that they could e-mail or fax to me? I checked with my local library and they did not have this directory and I checked with my town and they did'nt have it. He cited me with article 110.3. Should I have to prove to him that it is approved or should he have to prove to me that there is a violation?
Any help or info would be great.

If you find the UL "e" number (usually on the packaging for units this small) go to this site:

http://database.ul.com/cgi-bin/XYV/template/LISEXT/1FRAME/index.htm

Enter the number in the "UL File Number" area. It will then link you to the various Ideal products listed. The link will further direct you to the "General Information" directory that covers the application information you are looking for.
