unattended self-service fueling

Is there a requirement for driving a ground rod @ an above ground gasoline or deisel tank @ an unattended motor fuel dispensing station to ground the tank.
 
May not be an NEC thing but it may be for the equipment being serviced.

Just like they ground aircraft on runways during fueling.

Even the ground support equipment must be grounded in order to fuel.

As others have said, attended/unattended are inconsequential. There is a NFPA publication (I haven't read it in over 10 years and don't remember which one) that requires above ground tanks to be grounded to ground rods. If I remember correctly, it was two ground rods on opposite corners connected with a #8.
