I'm nuts about safety and NEC compliance normally but there are times when my 34 years of doin' it has to account for something. I use the NEC, reson, experiece, common sense, greed, paranoia, fear...to make my decisions.

Amen! I don't think this issue has anything to do with safety either.

Please don't report me, but my under-counter lights are on the SAC (I didn't think about UCL when I installed the cabinets 10 years ago)

But debating the subject, kicking it, stomping it, choking it and shooting it always seems to be tremendous fun on this forum.
